Edward Ellis, born circa 1617 in Lowestoft
« Posted: 10 October 2010 at 09:17 PM »
Hello Lowestoftians,
I'm looking for anyone who might be able to check on information for Edward Ellis. The only things I know about him are that he was born between 1605-1617, maybe in Lowestoft. He would have emigrated to Virginia around 1635, probably being indentured to Benjamin Carrill. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Thanks...a few Edward Ellises from Kent during the same time, but nothing I can verify right now. Another good genealogy site for the arsenal, though!

Thank you so much. I've sent in a request to the person in charge of Suffolk on the website. We'll see how that goes.

It's worth becoming a member of the site and asking for information on their Research Questions and Answers section on there - I am sure you will get some response. Good luck.
