So Many Questions..... So Little Time.....

Railway Mission - Denmark Road « Posted: 03 October 2010 at 05:42 PM »

Searching for information regarding the Railway Mission, Denmark Road

see attached photo (better views are required)

The Mission was erected in 1887

Can anyone confirm which year the mission closed?

Did those involve continue eslewhere, after Denmark Road?

Was this building utilised for any other purpose, after the closure of the mission
- if so by whom and what exactly?

When was the building demolished?

Do you know any who was involved, who might be able to throw any additional light on the subject?

the raiway mission was well used in its time I used to sing there. i am not certain when it closed around 1972 i think. the congigation moved to many churhes around lowestoft when it closed and the building was then pulled down not long after.the missions congregation was made up by many old parishiners.
