From Press article:
It has already captivated millions, taking viewers on a spectacular polar expedition to the frozen wildernesses of the Arctic and the Antarctic.
And now the makers of the landmark BBC series Frozen Planet, bringing the natural world of the North and South Poles to the small screen, has given a tantalising glimpse of things to come with these stunning images from future episodes.
These incredible stills from the series reveal the frozen world as you have never seen it before - and may never see again, thanks to the onset of global warming.

Makes me almost pleased to pay the licence fee - on second thoughts, no it doesn't. But it must have cost a fortune to make and so nice to see it without being peppered by adverts.

Good film. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid takes some beating too. Seen it loads of times now and never tire of it.

Doesn't it just! Absolutely stunning - it's an absolute must-watch. And thank goodness - no trashy commercials to suffer. I have a golden rule now - if I want to watch anything on ITV - and I watch very little ITV - I record it so I can fast forward through the commercial breaks. And have you noticed how much longer they're getting?

Once upon a time you had to run to the bathroom and try to be back before the commercials ended.Nowadays you can go to the bathroom, make a sandwich and a cup of tea and still get back in time!We were just discussing this today at lunch.

The popular Downton Abbey - on ITV - I find it quite amusing that the last actual sequence of the programme lasts about 3.5 minutes - and then it suddenly ends and you're viewing what's going to happen next week! I look forward to somebody bringing out a recorder that zaps the ads!

The TV people are still churning out viewing information that always used to be based on info provided by the power stations. Apparently at the end of a good program everybody used to put the kettle on a make a cup of tea - yes very accurate stuff! this info was provided to the advertisers on which they then based their budgets. How do they do it now that many of us a re recording and watching later AND fast-forwarding through those expensive ads?
