A traditional restaurant i think, like a pub or the restaurants along Regent Road in Yarmouth Smiley

Popped in last night to pick up a menu, the decor and the food doesn't look like something you would get along Regent Road.

The food on menu sounds great and the prices are not to bad.

It's always good to hear the opinions of other people. It sounds like this is a place to try out soon.

Cheers for that.  wave

I see Hamiltons have a sign up that they have a medium coming and you can have a reading or whatever with a three course meal.
Should be handy, they can tell you if you'll enjoy it even before it even arrives.

I went lunchtime yesterday and it was fine nice big portions and not horrendous price only negative thing was it was completely empty bar two people and when we asked if we could sit at a 4 seater table instead of 2 ( just more room) we were told 'no' although they were all empty and no one came in for the hour plus that we were there so a bit jobs worthy I think

regarding the above comment, I have been here for lunch and have had to wait for a table of 4 to become available and only 2 people were sitting on it, I think this just ensures ,maxium capacity, plus if needed the table of 4 would they be within their right to ask you to move to a smaller table half way through ur meal?

I think if it was a quick lunch time bite for 2 and the restaurant was empty a then little more discretion could have been given in FC's case.

Maybe a different case if was in the evening when it could suddenly become busy.

Sorry but it s about common sense, middle of the week, blowing a gale, not a soul about and an empty restaurant, would have been nice to keep the one table they did have extra happy ,but hey ho it was a nice snack lunch and I'm not complaining just seemed slightly daft

I have often taken my son to Hamilton's for lunch....I say 'taken' because its always me that picks up the tab  Roll Eyes...today we went there for Sunday lunch with some friends, we had the 3 courses and at £9.95 for the 3 it was excellent value for money and the food was 1st class.

The wife and I eat at the Harvester and we have always had a four seat table for the two of us without any problem from the restaurant even when they are very busy.
I agree that the request for a larger table should have been given better consideration, after all the customer is paying the bill and if not totally happy would not return so the restaurants revenue drops (not good business sense in my view)

A guy went into a restaurant with his wife and asked if they could move to a table for four (more room). The restauarant explained that it was not possible because they might get busy later and would need all the spaces.
"I bet if Charles and Camilla suddenly turned up on the doorstep you'd soon find them spaces wouldn't you" asked the man.
The waiter said obviously they would.
"Well, they aren't coming so I'll take the places you were going to put them in" said the man and moved to the four seater table.
