got bloodwork done this morning. Felt well enough to drive myself to the appt. Also ran into Walmart to get some batteries (not for me for Bob's alarm clock!)
Hoping my counts stay high so maybe we can go to Boston this weekend. (have to see my Benjamin walking!!)

Hospital appointment at Dartmouth today. Blood work looks good again, final analysis tomorrow but probably okay, so next round of weeklong chemo on July 6th (after Independence Day and family birthday celebrations) Smiley
The Dr didn't expect that I would be able to have the same regimen again but I'm doing so well we can keep going with it. I didn't realize, until he said it today, but it's rare to be able to get into remission with this cancer so I'm unusual (again!)
I'm just very grateful and happy to be feeling so well.

On Wednesay evening I visited my old workplace to give a presentation about blood donation.  In a nutshell I said that when I ws so ill back in October I received 67 units of blood products and that just like a minimal carbon footprint I would like to get at lest 67 units donated.
Although it takes about an hour to donate blood the time given back to a recipient is weeks, month or years of life. Without the transfusions I received I would never have seen my grandson learn to crawl, walk or say "Nana." So, I'm also asking here, Please if you are able, give blood, it's the most precious gift you can give.
Thank you!
Today, I got a phone call form my old boss saying they were starting a new award at work named after me. I was so touched. Smiley
