Well Google didn't mention anything about Runrig, or did I miss it?

You must have a different Google where you are Blue Eyes. This is the first entry on the Google search here.
http://www.runrig.co.uk/
I didn't actually Google them it was the other group Prydein that you queried.

If you read my posting you will see, I asked if Prydein were a group like Runrig nothing more or nothing less. I know about Runrig and don't need to Google it.

I haven't heard of Runrig-I'll take a look online (using Google!!!!)
Prydein's facebook pace is kept up to date better than the other link. They were excellent as always-I have to get the new CD. They always end with a version of Amazing Grace and Scotland the Brave-however, it's not a version like you hear at a funeral-they invite any pipers up to join in and it is LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was in the 80's yesterday and the sun/heat got to me a bit-also sitting on the ground and then on a folding chair for a long time. Today I'm sore, stiff and very tired but it was still worth it!
I can see I'll hve to pace myself next weekend at the New World Festival and doubt I'll manage 12 hours like last year!
http://www.newworldfestival.com
Next week is supposed to be great weather-really hot (mid/high 80s) and then finally cooling off next weekend so that could be good news as I've attended that festival in a heatwave and a torrential downpour and I think mild and dry will be perfect!!!
Oh yeah Ken I love the ghoti spelling-it was fun explaining it to Peter (the German SIL!)

Strange that, Eileen. Two groups the same name and seems like they are involved in similar type music. However one has four members the other five.
