That is really sad news, I am hoping and praying Eileen responds to the treatments, I have sent her a pm.

I was totally shocked when i read the news about Eileen
My heart goes out to her and Jen whom i have both met and i too will be praying for them and their family.
Eileen is a strong character and i had an email from her this morning as i too have been in touch with her.
The power of prayer is an amazing thing as was proved to us just two weeks ago.
God bless her.

I was very saddened to hear this news. It's a double blow to me because I met Eileen & accommodated her when she came over to England, she's a lovely person with a strong sense of fun & I'll treasure those memories. I really hope the outlook is good for you, Eileen, & that the condition has been caught early enough for treatments to be effective. I'll be praying for you, Eileen.
The double blow is that early last week I also learned that my dad has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. So I'm sorry not to have replied sooner although I have been thinking of Eileen. I'll now send her a personal message.

Sorry to hear about your dad Joe. The prognosis is good if caught early for him too.
I intend to message Eileen later rather than she gets a lot of messages all ay once, then nothing.

Thanks for letting me know Meg, have sent a pm to Eileen.
Sorry also Joe to hear about your Dad, hopefully in both cases they will respond to treatment.
We have had so many friends and family this past year who had or are still dealing with this damn cancer, the most dreaded word to hear from a doctor.

Sorry about your dad Joe. but the treatment is very good now and a high percentage of people make a full recovery. We'll keep you you both in our thoughts.
