No...... the beach north of Claremont pier down near the Hatfield does have more stones than it used to have WDC are dealing with it and piling sand down there, the beach from Claremont south is still a large expanse of beautiful white sand

It seems they are planning to move +/- 8,000 tons of sand stating on Monday. Should be fun to watch.

What perfect timing Into the last half of May, holiday season started and a Bank Holiday next weekend. Well done guys!! Beach now out of bounds I suppose. Maybe they know the right time of year to do this work. Which is now.

You could do it in the morning. It looks like you were on your own this morning. It must have been early.

Ooh are you thinking of stealing some of the queens bottom!
Apparently she owns it to the 12 mile limit and you'll have to pay her for any removal

good quality example of "longshore drift" there, thats probably half of what was Happisburgh beach in that corner. Its strange how quickly the profiles of beaches can change. Look at Kessingland. 15 years ago the sea came up to the sea wall outside the Sailors Home, there was a sailing club a 100mtrs down that could launch literally into the water, now the sealine is 200mtrs away!!. strange but interesting at the same time. Goes to show, you can't play with nature.
