I saw the Milton Keynes one last weekend when i went to the Foo fighters concert, looked huge, doubt there's a site big enough around here to fit one in anyway!

My auntie Mavis (Smith) used to work in there
Did she have a sister? (Olive, I think?). If so, I lived in the same road as them when we were kids.

On my short perambulation this morning I noticed the following - which I hadn’t noticed before - probably due to the fact that I don’t perambulate very often!
I noticed that there’s a foody place now in Flint House (High Stree), strolled northwards a bit further and discovered that the bakery - almost opposite the Globe Inn, has closed - and has relocated to Flint House - as a Bakery and Bistro (thin this has been so since early May).
There’s a Boxing/gym place in the building just north from Rant Score - east side (in my young day it was Crisp’s - Stationers/Newsagents!).
And as has already been mentioned on here - what was recently Grizzly's American diner in High Street (now closed) - this morning there were lights on in the building and quite a bit of activity inside.

Slightly down the road...
Pearce & Kemp Electrical are opening a shop in Beccles.
Apparently they have taken over an existing Electrical contractor which has enabled them to increase their presence in the Beccles and Lowestoft area.
Not heard any concrete news only speculation, who they've taken over and if they're going to use the existing contractors Lowestoft base.
