Agree with the remarks about Ikea .....they have been looking as a East anglian site for some time now somewhere close to Ipswich or Norwich but they require a huge site with a large back up warehouse as well , we will never see then in Lowestoft that i am sure of .

The Sainsbury s that i am registerd with for Nector points is Thorpe. I go near there far more often than i go to Yarmouth.

Cambridge would be central enough and there is a warehouse westwards along the A14.

Yes it is furniture mostly but lots of other goodies including rather excellent meatballs and chips.

My auntie Mavis (Smith) used to work in there and her husband used to drive the old house to house bakers van for them.
