Many thanks to all of you who replied to my call for help,I looked at all the options and became more confused due to the fact that I was convinced that I had the facility somewhere within my own applications to resize. It needed me to walk away from the problem,email my friend Meg who pointed me in the right direction ,have some sleep to clear my head as I was getting so frustrated and angry and "bingo"this morning it seems so easy.
