Sunday lunch Suggestions!
« Posted: 23 August 2009 at 09:22 PM »
Partner and I are looking for somewhere nice to take parents for traditional Sunday Lunch or perhaps carvery. In Lowestoft or a nearby village - any suggestions most welcome?

Browston Hall is a pretty good carvery, or further afield - the Castle Carvery at Caister.

"The Jolly Sailors" at Pakefield is OK gets a bit crowded but food is good.
"The Swan Inn" at Barnby is good for fish dishes. Though I will say that it is not as good as it used to be.

I went to the Waveney House Hotel yesterday in Beccles and it was lovely. Roast was great as was sitting by the river eating it. Highly recommend it!
