On Mill road off of london road south, theres guitars and saxophones etc hanging on the walls, Friendly and chatty barstaff, cheap prices and some really interesting regulars, just a fun place to be..

Not a clue, that sounds worrying though. S'just a fun place to go, i can happily say, no murders under the new management (So far)

At the time it was called the Windsor Castle, well before it became the Slug and Lettuce. Always a dump.
John Rose, the landlord, shot his wife and then himself.

Wasn't it the Blues & Bloater as well for a time? Used to be part of the brewery which was at the back of the Crown Hotel in the High Street? Used to sell their beers I remember.

I told my girlfriend I had a job in a bowling alley. She said 'Tenpin?' I said, 'No, permanent.'

John Rose?  Did his wife and son (Neil) once work at Harvest Poultry no Gisleham Industrial Estate back in the 70/80's?
