Hello From Sunny Kirkley « Posted: 09 August 2009 at 11:20 AM »

Hi Everyone,

I'm Jinksy & I've just joined LOL. What a great Site and what a wonderful source of News & Info about Lowestoft (OK I admit peeking before joining).

I live in Kirkley, right by the Seafront, and love it. I'm a retired Nurse. Personally I think the word 'retired' is misleading, because now I seem to be busier than ever! I'm into Family & Local History, walking, reading, my PC, lunching with friends & spending as much time with my family as possible.

I have a much-loved Yorkshire Terrier who is 16 years old.

I've traced my Suffolk Family History back to 18th Century &, yes, I did find a couple of skeletons in the cupboard.  Shocked

FC   -- He is waiting for someone to ask how they know it is a gypsy.  Then he will come out with the punchline.
