Thank-you Pauly .I thought twice about going out this evening as I can't see much of the sky where I live ,not in the direction west any way .Glad I made the effort .

bb i on crappy phone in bad recption area it hit or miss which thread will open.i ask again if anyone see northan lights tonight would they b kind enough take pic as i not in area to see them

I won't be able to see them tonight as it is overcast and raining. Last night was really clear but didn't see anything when I was watching, a bit too much orange light to the north of the town.

There is a severe solar geomagnetic storm forecast for this week which could help..

Between the last sunset photo I posted and this one the trees have been cut down spoilt a good place for taking photos.
