My father was evacuated to Blundeston with his brother Peter.

They were taken in by a lovely couple called Sid & Lil Blizzard. Sid & Lil had 2 daughters (possibly other children) called Shirley and Barbara.

Dad says staying in Blundeston has happy memories. He has lost touch with Shirley and Barbara but I wondered if there was anyone who remembered him  or his brother, or who knew the Blizzards?

My dad is George Stone and his mother was Lilian, widowed in WW2. The whole family used to go to visit now and again after the war.

I believe Shirley ran a boarding house in Corton (?)

Hi Mishy,please visit Ken's corner where there is a whole long topic about evacuees.Mostly from Lowestoft to areas in the Midlands but you never know someone may be able to help you.
